When Conan O’Brien traveled across the country to begin hosting the Tonight Show, he didn’t forget his used Ford Taurus, as one of the first night’s skits began with him taking the used car around Hollywood.

In the bit at least, the car was “cool enough” for both major cities, and the new host jokingly showed off its ability to turn the eyes of admiring onlookers.

The green car is a recurring guest on shows that Conan has hosted, and the 1992 Taurus may be the biggest difference between O’Brien and outgoing host Jay Leno, as he told the Toronto Star, “He has, you know, like a 220-car collection. And I have my Ford Taurus.”

A more recent model from 2004 could offer those looking for used car buyers an inexpensive option that has a fair amount of space in either sedan or wagon form according to Edmunds.com editors.

The base engine in those cars is a V6 that puts out around 155 horsepower, but some buyers may be more interested to know that there is room for six passengers.
