The Brass Rail

If you’re searching for a new place to eat this Easter Sunday, we highly recommend checking out The Brass Rail. Known as one of the city’s finest upscale dining establishments, and located in Hoboken’s historic district, this restaurant is only a short trip from Jersey City.

The Brass Rail features two areas: the bistro area and the raw bar. The bistro area includes an extensive bar that’s full of some of the best spirits and wines. If you’re feeling hungry for seafood, then definitely head over to the raw bar. It offers some of the area’s finest seafood options. The restaurant was originally established in the 1900s as an elegant dining establishment, but today it offers a variety of New American dishes along with its wine program, which is exclusive to this restaurant.

The kitchen creates flavorful dishes utilizing different techniques and uses only fresh seasonal ingredients. We highly recommend trying one of the signature dishes, such as seared salmon or BR eggs benedict — they’re absolutely delicious. The brunch menu is set at $28 per person and includes two courses plus a cocktail — you’ll definitely want to make reservations.

Buddy’s JC

Easter brunch at Buddy’s JC is the ultimate comfort food experience. This laid-back burger bar has everything you could ever want, and more. Buddy’s JC also offers a full bar with specialty brunch cocktails, such as the Trade Secrets, made with vodka, espresso, and chocolate. We love the classic drinks as well, such as the Bloody Mary and Espresso Martini.

Buddy’s JC will be serving its normal menu for brunch this Easter. Don’t worry though — the menu is full of exciting creations. Buddy’s JC stuffs its famous cereal pancakes with your favorite cereals, such as Fruity Pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and others And of course, let’s not forget the savory options from the burger bar, such as The Hangover Burger, a coffee-rubbed patty with bacon, bleu cheese, and a jalapeño honey aioli on a toasted English muffin. You’ll leave Buddy’s JC this Easter stuffed to the brim with off-beat comfort foods.
