Cross-industry partnerships could make used Kias in New York hot cars

Owners of used Kias in New York might get ideas about what to do with their cars if they see a certain late model Soul at the upcoming Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas.

Kia has partnered up with several names in the music, fashion, skateboard and technology industries this year in order to prepare a car for SEMA. Enthusiasts who are interested in this Kia might like to know that it was first seen during New York’s Fashion Week in September.

“As a head-turning example of modern design, the Soul was the perfect canvas for influential designers and thought leaders to come together and express everything that would make it further befitting of its name,” said Michael Sprague, Kia’s vice president of marketing.

Some of the manufacturer’s partners for this project included the skateboard shoe company Etnies and Antenna magazine. Owners of used Kias in New York who are looking for ideas on how they can modify their rides can visit the magazine’s website for an image of the car.
